PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The production process for Aluminum Zinc coated steel is similar to that of galvanized steel. Aluminum zinc coated is produced in a continuous coating process.
Aluminum Zinc coated steel has superior corrosion resistance, excellent adhesion and flexibility when exposed to the same environment on both sides compared to galvanized steel sheet of the same thickness.

HIGH CORROSION RESISTANCE
The corrosion resistance of Al - Zn alloy coated steel is due to the protective function of the passivation layer of aluminum and the sacrificial protective function of zinc. When zinc is used as sacrificial protection on cut edges, scratches and abrasions of the plating, the aluminum forms an insoluble oxide layer that acts as a barrier. The results of long-term atmospheric exposure tests of Al - Zn coating in various regions of the world, such as rural areas, industrial areas, general coastal areas and harsh marine areas, confirm that in the case of the same coating thickness, Al - Zn coating has a higher corrosion resistance of 2-6 times than galvanizing, with good barrier protection.

HEAT RESISTANCE
The heat resistance of Al - Zn alloy coated steel is better than that of Galvanized Steel Sheet. Al - Zn alloy coated steel can be used in high temperature environments up to 315°C without discolouration or contamination, while galvanized steel is not suitable for use in environments above 230°C. The high reflective power of Al - Zn alloy coated steel makes it a heat-resistant high temperature oxidation barrier.

FORMABILITY
The Al - Zn alloy coated steel is harder than galvanized coating, and it has superior adhesion to the base steel. It has the same formability as galvanized steel achieving the same specified minimum bending radius. Therefore, it is possible to meet the requirements for all applications such as molding, stamping, and deep-drawing, etc.

PAINTABILITY
Al - Zn alloy coated steel is most suitable for painting applications, its unique coating structure provides excellent paint adhesion and good ductility, providing the most outstanding performance. The unique coating structure creates a unique zinc spangle pattern, and excellent paintability.
