On 31 May 2024, Chen Rongchun, deputy general manager of Shanghai ENP, and Faith Fu, Key Account Manager, accompanied Shen Xiuliang, director of the headquarters of Sharp in Japan, to Yieh Phui (China) Changshu factory for an indepth visit and discussions. Yieh Phui's steel products have been used in Sharp refrigerators and washing machines, and the quality, delivery and service have been well received.

Yieh Phui (China) provides high-grade steel products in different colors, which are suitable for the casings of home appliances and building materials in the decoration industry, and the main benchmark products mainly include PCM colour coated steel plate, aluminum-galvanized steel plate and galvanized steel plate, to meet the needs of high-end home appliances such as Sharp refrigerators and washing machines.
PCM (Pre-Coated Metal) is a continuous toll coated coloured steel product, which is pre-coated with paint on a steel coils, and then the coated steel coil is cut into lengths, and fabricated into various products. On the basis of the traditional PCM colour steel, Yieh Phui (China) has developed a toll rolled sandy surface PCM steel product. Yieh Phui PCM steel not only meets the ROHS environmental protection standards of the European Union, but also has been identified by the State Science and Technology Commission and the Economic and Trade Commission, and the product performance and quality have reached the international leading level.
The aluminum-zinc coating consists of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon by weight. The production process of aluminum-galvanized steel is similar to that of galvanized steel and aluminium coated steel, which is a continuous coating process. When exposed to the same environment on both sides, the 55% aluminum-zinc alloy coated aluminum-zinc steel has superior corrosion resistance, excellent processing performance, excellent heat resistance and heat reflection performance compared with galvanized steel plate of the same thickness.
Zinc is chemically active, and a thin and dense alkaline zinc carbonate film is formed on the surface at room temperature, which can prevent further oxidation. In 2005, Yieh Phui (China)'s first galvanizing/aluminum-zinc coating line was put into operation, with a design capacity of 300,000 tons/year processing design thicknesses of 0.2~2.0mm, becoming one of the few steel mills in China that could ensure production quality at that time. Till now, the thickness range of Yieh Phui aluminum-zinc coated products is 0.2~3.2mm, the thickness of the coating is AZ70~AZ225, and the widest width can be 1650mm, and the products are widely used in home appliances, electrical cabinets, industrial buildings and other industries.
